Understanding GST & TCS on Holiday Packages

Under Indian Tax Regulations (RBI LRS), all outbound holiday packages are subject to 5% GST and 5% TCS (Tax Collected at Source) up to ₹7 Lakhs per financial year. TCS is NOT an extra expense — it is an advance tax credited directly to your PAN number and can be 100% claimed/adjusted in your annual Income Tax Return (ITR).
